Rods in daylight act as relay cells for cone-driven horizontal cell-mediated surround inhibition.
Tamás Szikra and colleagues published their work on the role of rod photoreceptors under photopic conditions, i.e. bright light conditions under which rods were thought to be inactive due to saturation.Read Full Post »
